MISSION
The role is responsible for executing the category purchasing process within the procurement department. This involves managing the end-to-end purchase-to-pay processes based on sourcing and purchasing priorities, creating and processing orders accurately and timely, distributing purchase orders for review and approval from relevant internal stakeholders, managing the purchase order lifecycle as well as related amendments and cancellations. Finally, the role requires addressing purchase orders and payments related matters, and supporting in defining and filling the purchase order request from internal applicant departments.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports the respective category manager in the day-to-day execution of strategic supplier sourcing and contracting, managing processes base and daily orders;
  • Manages the end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay process according to the sourcing and purchasing priorities;
  • Creates and processes purchase orders timely, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies and procedures, verifying specifications, quantities, and prices;
  • Distributes purchase orders to relevant stakeholders for review and approval, including category manager, purchasing director, department manager, chief procurement officer, depending on the spending limits;
  • Manages the purchase order lifecycle to enable the monitoring of the execution cycle of the order and initiate and manage changes to the order, including cancellations;
  • Updates or cancels the purchase order under certain circumstances, upon request or approval of the parties concerned;
  • Provides support and addresses issues related to purchase orders and payments (e.g., blocked invoices);
  • Ensures high standards of delivery and service level to internal customers by supporting in defining and filling the purchase order request.
