Drive value creation in the global aviation aftermarket – as part of our dynamic team in London, actively shaping our surplus trading business and building strong customer partnerships across the UK and beyond.

Tasks

  • Negotiate, manage purchase/sale of packages and components
  • Maintain and grow vendor and customer relationships
  • Monitor markets; identify new sourcing and business opportunities
  • Forecast, track, and deliver surplus projects
  • Evaluate packages; prepare management decision memos
  • Act as interface between suppliers, customers and internal teams
  • Source surplus parts from airlines, MROs, lessors and brokers
  • Track project progress; drive corrective actions
  • Coordinate with account managers; share market insights
  • Own account P&L; control costs and report performance
  • Strengthen financial analysis, negotiation and CRM/SRM practices
  • Collaborate with sales, trading, procurement and supply chain
  • Resolve discrepancies proactively; ensure process compliance
  • Conduct performance reviews; use SAP/ELO/MFG-Pro

Requirements

  • 1–2 years experience in aviation, customer service, or contract management
  • Fluent English; German or Spanish is a plus
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); solid presentation skills
  • Strong analytical mindset and business acumen
  • Cost- and quality-focused, productivity-driven
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Able to work under pressure; flexible and adaptable
  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and conflict management skills
  • Customer-oriented with high professionalism
