We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paint Sprayer to join our aircraft MRO team specialising in aircraft landing gear. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and application of protective and decorative coatings on aircraft landing gear components in accordance with OEM specifications, aerospace standards, and internal procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage individual workload effectively to meet production schedules and business priorities, adapting to changes as required.
  • Prepare and apply aerospace-grade sealants and paint systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and technical documentation.
  • Mix paint and sealing compounds accurately, ensuring correct ratios and quality standards are maintained.
  • Perform precise masking and surface preparation of components prior to coating.
  • Operate and maintain spray painting equipment and ensure associated tools and booths are in optimal working condition.
  • Monitor and manage spray booth and curing oven parameters to maximize operational efficiency and achieve desired finish quality.
  • Adhere to company environmental procedures, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials and waste.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
