Tasks

  • Perform a range of NDT inspections on aircraft components within a fast-paced MRO environment.
  • Use techniques such as MPI, FPI, Ultrasonic, Eddy Current, Barkhausen and Nital etch to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Work closely with production teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain accurate records including PER logs.
  • Support method sheet development.
  • Ensure equipment and certification remain current.
  • Carry out all duties in line with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Valid NDT Level 2 authorisation (EN4179 or recognised equivalent) in one or more required disciplines.
  • Knowledge of EASA/CAA/FAA regulations and EASA 145 requirements.
  • Aerospace apprenticeship (desirable).
  • Experience in an aerospace or MRO environment.
  • Good IT skills (SAP or similar systems, Microsoft Excel).
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices.
  • Ability to manage complex tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Good planning skills with a flexible approach.
  • Fluent English (written and verbal).
  • Commitment to maintaining certification and professional development.
  • Flexibility to work shift schedules.
