Tasks
- Develop and maintain work instructions and tooling documentation
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support projects and production
- Improve processes and layouts to boost efficiency and meet OEM standards
- Identify waste and support continuous improvement
- Assist with workflow optimization and project tasks
- Investigate non-conformities and recommend fixes
- Analyze production data and report insights
- Track KPIs to enhance performance
- Coordinate equipment maintenance
- Support problem-solving and daily operations
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies
- Manage tooling data in SAP
- Conduct studies to identify and resolve inefficiencies
Requirements
- Minimum HND in Mechanical Engineering with CAD experience
- Higher qualification considered with interest in tool design
- Training in Lean, Continuous Improvement, or SPC is a plus
- Experience creating manufacturing instructions and tooling documentation
- Skilled in reading engineering drawings and basic metrology
- Strong understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes
- Background in aerospace metal processing and surface finishing
- Proficient in MRP/ERP systems, MS Office, and CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Familiar with data analysis, automation, and process optimization
- Team player with a proactive, innovative, and goal-driven mindset
- Flexible hours including shifts, weekends, or travel as needed
