Responsibilities
- Perform high-precision grinding on aircraft components using cylindrical and surface grinding machines, ensuring all work meets technical specifications and company procedures.
- Work independently, read and interpret technical drawings, maintain a Practical Experience Record (PER), and may support the training of personnel.
- Comply with safety, environmental, and quality regulations, and contribute to continuous improvement within the workshop.
Qualifications
- GCSE level education (or equivalent).
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Experience with internal/external, cylindrical, and surface grinding machines.
- CNC grinding knowledge preferred.
- Aerospace experience is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Effective communicator, able to work across teams.
- Performs well under pressure.
- Team-oriented and eager to learn.
