Tasks
- Set up, program, and operate CNC machines to manufacture and repair high-precision aircraft landing gear components supporting MRO activities.
- Interpret engineering drawings, perform machining operations, monitor machine performance, and carry out in-process and final inspections using precision measuring equipment.
- Ensure strict adherence to aviation quality and regulatory standards (including EASA/FAA where applicable), ensuring full traceability and documentation.
- Troubleshoot issues, maintain your PER book, meet production deadlines, and uphold safety and environmental procedures at all times.

Requirements
- GCSE level education or equivalent.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Basic CNC programming knowledge.
- Experience with CNC lathes, engine lathes & vertical milling machines.
- Familiarity with FANUC controls preferred.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling & shop mathematics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Experience aligning and securing workpieces independently.
- Aerospace experience desirable.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Organised, self-motivated and able to meet deadlines.
