Join our Plating team and play a vital role in restoring and protecting aircraft components.
With full training provided, you'll develop specialist electroplating skills while working in a safety-focused environment that supports quality, teamwork and continuous learning.
This is a shift-based role - Four Days on / Four Days off Rotation What will I be doing?As a Trainee Electroplater, you'll support the electroplating team with the preparation, coating and finishing of aircraft components.
You'll assist with loading plating equipment, surface preparation, grit blasting, masking, cadmium plating and Alocrom processes while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and environmental compliance.
Working as part of a skilled team, you'll help ensure components are processed accurately and efficiently, with full training provided to develop your knowledge and technical skills.
What do I need?GCSEs (or equivalent) and good written and spoken English.
Engineering or manufacturing experience preferred; aerospace experience is an advantage.
Knowledge of PPE and safe working practices.
Ability to read technical drawings and follow work instructions.
Overhead crane or forklift experience desirable, but not essential.
Strong teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to learn new skills and work safely with chemicals and heavy components.
Right to live and work in the UK without restriction.
