Join our Landing Gear MRO team as a Stores Operative and play a vital role in keeping aircraft safe and operational. You’ll manage aircraft components with precision, ensuring parts are stored, moved, and dispatched accurately while upholding strict aviation safety, traceability, and quality standards in a fast-paced, highly organised environment.

Tasks

  • Handle the receipt, storage, movement, and dispatch of aircraft components, including landing gear assemblies, ensuring all processes meet aviation safety and traceability standards.
  • Manage inventory, operate lifting equipment, support stock checks, and work closely with Production, Quality, Purchasing, and Engineering teams.
  • Train colleagues where qualified, maintain a clean and efficient workspace, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in the warehouse environment.

Requirements

  • GCSE level education (or equivalent).
  • Experience in aviation maintenance or a regulated warehouse environment is a plus.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Confident communicator, comfortable working independently and in a team.
  • Ability to pass background checks for secure areas.
  • Proactive, reliable, and adaptable with a continuous-improvement mindset.
  • Forklift and overhead crane experience desirable (training provided).
  • Basic IT and numeracy skills; ERP or inventory system experience preferred.

Please note you must currently be eligible to work and remain indefinitely without any restrictions in the UK.
