We are seeking a skilled and motivated Manual Turner to join our dynamic team within the aircraft MRO sector. The ideal candidate will have experience working to fine tolerances using manual lathes and will play a critical role in supporting the precision machining requirements of aircraft components. Tasks The key responsibilities and duties of the Manual Turner include, but are not limited to: To operate all types of lathes to fine limits To be able to work unsupervised/ minimal supervision To be able to read and understand technical drawings To take responsibility of work and others To observe and comply with company standards of conduct To be able to work on manual lathes working to fine tolerances An awareness and understanding of responsibilities outlined in the Companyโs environmental procedures You will be required to maintain Practical Experience Record (PER) book You may be required to train personnel with a specified area subject to your qualifications and experience All duties shall be undertaken in compliance with Safety and Environmental Regulations and Company Procedures Requirements The ideal Candidate should meet the following requirements: Educated at least at GCSE level or equivalent Ability to communicate fluently in written and spoken English Trained in machine shop technology and working practices Have a minimum of 5 years of experience on manual lathes Please apply only if you hold a valid, unrestricted UK work permit.
