Tasks

What will you be responsible for?

As Head of Business Excellence, you will lead LTLGS's non-digital transformation agenda, embedding operational excellence, continuous improvement and organisational development across the business. You will own the enterprise transformation portfolio, ensuring strategic alignment through Hoshin Kanri, portfolio governance and performance management. Working closely with senior leadership, you will drive Lean-Agile practices, value stream optimisation, innovation initiatives and capability development. The role is responsible for establishing a culture of continuous improvement, enhancing organisational maturity through recognised excellence frameworks, and delivering measurable business results through sustainable transformation.

Requirements

What you’ll need?

  • MBA or equivalent in Business Administration combined with an engineering degree, ideally in aerospace or a related field
  • Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt (or equivalent); additional Lean certifications advantageous
  • 10+ years' experience in operational excellence, business transformation or management consulting
  • Proven success leading Lean transformation and portfolio management in complex, regulated environments
  • Strong expertise in Lean-Agile methods, value stream management, Hoshin Kanri and change leadership
  • Experience within aerospace, MRO, manufacturing or technology sectors preferred
  • Strong stakeholder management, strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Ability to coach leaders and teams at all organisational levels and drive cultural change
  • Fluent English; German language skills are an advantage

Employment type: two-year fixed-term contract
