Tasks

What will you be responsible for?

  • Disassemble aircraft landing gear to a high standard without causing damage.
  • Follow manufacturer instructions and departmental procedures accurately.
  • Identify and prepare parts safely for the next operation stage.
  • Work with the team to meet production schedules and deadlines.
  • Use company systems to record work and report issues.
  • Inspect for missing or damaged components and report findings.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in a safe and controlled manner.
  • Support continuous improvement by highlighting tooling or process issues.
  • Take part in team meetings and promote open reporting.

Requirements

What you’ll need?

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades A-C preferred.
  • Engineering qualification desirable but not essential.
  • Experience using hand tools in a mechanical environment.
  • Knowledge of PPE and safe working practices.
  • Aerospace experience advantageous but not required.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
  • Good manual dexterity and physical capability for lifting.
  • Willingness to complete mandatory training.
  • This is a 37.5-hour shift-based role.

Please note you must currently be eligible to work and remain indefinitely without any restrictions in the UK.
