Luffy AI is the foundation AI company at the forefront of the Physical AI revolution. Every motor, every drive, every system that moves, heats or reacts has run on control algorithms invented before the microchip. A hundred years of industry built on logic that was never designed to learn, never designed to adapt, and never designed to improve. We're changing that. Spun out of the UK Atomic Energy Authority and based at Culham Campus in Oxford, we are a team of physicists, engineers and AI researchers working on the intelligence that will run the next hundred years - in every factory, every vehicle, every robot, every machine that does something real. Where industrial processes gain agency. Where every machine becomes intelligent. Where AI meets the Physical World.

The role:

Our technology reaches the world through two routes: through partnerships with the industrial automation companies that build machines deployed across global industry, and through the semiconductor companies whose chips sit at the heart of those systems - and increasingly, at the heart of automotive, robotics and consumer electronics too. This role sits at the centre of both. You'll be the first point of contact for inbound commercial interest - qualifying leads, understanding where they fit, and making sure the right things happen next. Working closely with marketing, you'll also drive outbound activity - identifying target accounts and stakeholders and building campaigns. Beyond the top of funnel, you'll support Luffy AI’s partner relationships day to day, working alongside the EVP Commercial to keep those conversations progressing. This is a multi-faceted role. The common thread is commercial rigour - knowing what a good opportunity looks like, nurturing it over time with discipline. These are long, important relationships with serious organisations. Patience, consistency and judgement matter as much as energy.

Your responsibilities:

  • Qualify inbound commercial interest - understanding the opportunity, where it fits in our go-to-market motion, and what the right next step is.
  • Design and execute outbound campaigns alongside the marketing function — identifying target partner and prospect accounts, developing sequences, and driving engagement across the semiconductor and OEM pipeline.
  • Own the day-to-day progression of semiconductor partner relationships - nurturing existing agreements, identifying expansion opportunities, and coordinating demo programmes and joint development initiatives.
  • Support the broader OEM pipeline across active partnerships, ensuring commercial relationships stay warm and moving between senior engagements.
  • Work closely with the EVP GTM & Commercial to translate channel strategy into concrete partner activity.
  • Maintain rigorous pipeline records and partner activity in CRM - bringing visibility and discipline to a function that is currently informal.
  • Represent Luffy credibly and independently at industry events and partner meetings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing function to ensure partner-facing content, collateral and follow-up reflects the quality of the technology.

You will be a good fit if you:

  • Have experience in a partnerships, business development or channel role in a technology company - you understand what it means to manage a relationship commercially.
  • Understand how large technology organisations buy and partner - long cycles, multiple stakeholders, and relationships that are built over months.
  • Are comfortable in technical conversations and curious enough to go deeper - you won't be expected to explain the physics, but you will be expected to understand why it matters.
  • Understand the difference between a champion and an economic buyer, and how to move both forward.
  • Are self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity - you'll be given the mandate and expected to run with it.
  • Bring genuine rigour to pipeline management - you follow up, you track, you close loops without being chased.
  • Are comfortable running outbound campaigns — you know how to identify the right targets, craft a credible approach, and work with marketing to build sequences that open doors rather than close them.
  • You are a partner seller — you build relationships with intent, qualify rigorously, and always know what the next commercial step is.
  • Are drawn to early-stage environments, where the role is defined by initiative, tenacity and collaboration with a world class team.

Exceptional candidates will also have:

  • Experience in semiconductors, industrial automation, or embedded systems markets.
  • Familiarity with channel or ecosystem partnership models - co-sell, demo licensing, joint development.
  • Working knowledge of structured sales qualification methodologies such as MEDDIC or BANT.
  • A second European language, particularly German.

We welcome applicants with non-traditional career paths or equivalent experience. We’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds, regardless of race, gender, disability, religion, sexual orientation, or age. We don’t expect candidates to meet every requirement listed — if you’re excited about the role and think you could be a good fit, we’d love to hear from you. We also recognise that people have different responsibilities and circumstances. We’re open to discussing flexible working arrangements, including around caring responsibilities, to help make the role work for you.

What we offer:

  • Competitive base salary plus bonus and equity.
  • Abingdon / remote hybrid at Culham Campus.
  • You'll work directly with the EVP GTM & Commercial from day one, with real visibility across the full commercial operation.

Location:

Abingdon / remote hybrid. Office-based two days per week at our Culham Campus - proximity to the engineering team and marketing is part of what makes this role work. Travel may be required for industry events and partner meetings.
