The Role
Working 23 hours per week (Wednesday & Thursday 8.00 am – 5.00 pm; Friday 8.00am – 3.30 pm)
The Receptionist provides a professional first point of contact for the company, managing all incoming communications and visitors. They ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the office, supporting the finance team and wider business with administrative tasks where required.
Key Responsibilities
·Greet and manage visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
·Answer and direct telephone calls, emails, and general inquiries efficiently.
·Manage the office reception area, keeping it clean, organised, and welcoming.
·Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
·Maintain office supplies and liaise with suppliers when needed.
·Support the finance team with basic administrative tasks, including filing, photocopying, scanning, and document preparation.
·Schedule appointments, meetings, and manage meeting room bookings.
·Assist with minor ad hoc tasks for the Finance Director or Senior Management Accountant.
·Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
·Co-operate with company in compliance with H&S legislation.
