Reporting to the Quality Manager and working as an integral part of the Quality team, this role requires a dynamic and talented person to support operations and ensure internally produced components and finished goods meet the required standard. Encourage a continuous improvement environment with regular reviews and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- PPA inspection of finished goods
- Be the focal point for internal non-conformance and quality concerns
- Liaise with internal stakeholders during investigations, to identify root cause and provide and encourage preventative measures
- Maintain, improve, and review quality documents
- Identify, record, and document continuous improvement projects
- Carry out internal audits (ISO9001/14001/45001)
- Goods In Inspection
- Verification of new samples or product
- Support and carry out internal calibration
- Foster an environment that supports learning, individual development, and openness to change
- Support other quality team members in their roles
Dimensions
The role will be based in Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire.
Experience Knowledge & Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings (mechanical and electrical)
- Knowledge of ISO standards particularly ISO9001, 14001 & 45001
- Proven capability of operating successfully in bespoke teams
- Strong working ethic in the delivery of satisfying the profitable requirements and expectations of internal and external customers
- Effectively recognise and manage conflict
- Broad experience of working in a multi-national, matrix organization
- Able to work alone as well as in a team environment
- Strong communications and presentation skills
