We’re looking for a curious, detail-oriented and solutions-focused Junior Developer to support the day-to-day technical performance of Lucy & Yak’s digital platforms. Working closely with the Head of Ecommerce and our retained development agency, you’ll play a key role in keeping our site and app running smoothly, helping to deliver a best-in-class user experience, while continuously learning and growing as part of a close-knit, agile team. As Junior Developer, you’ll collaborate with teams across Ecommerce, CRO, CRM and Marketing to deliver updates, troubleshoot issues, and implement front-end improvements that bring campaigns and content to life. Responsibilities Implement front-end changes and updates across the web store and app to support UX and customer journey improvements. Troubleshoot bugs, content issues and site errors, ensuring fixes are delivered quickly and accurately. Collaborate with our retained development agency on larger-scale builds, supporting across QA testing, documentation and implementation. Work alongside the CRO team to implement A/B tests and support the rollout of UX experiments and enhancements. Support the Ecommerce team in delivering campaign pages, product launches and seasonal content updates. Liaise with CRM and Digital Marketing teams to ensure technical needs are met for campaign tracking, tagging and third-party integrations. Help monitor and maintain site performance, page speed, accessibility and mobile optimisation. Keep technical documentation up to date across platform configurations and custom-built features. Ensure all development work aligns with Lucy & Yak’s brand standards, accessibility requirements and security best practices. Stay across platform updates, ecommerce trends and development best practices, bringing new ideas to the table. What You’ll Bring Some experience working with ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify or similar), either in a junior dev, intern or freelance capacity. A foundational understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and an interest in UI/UX best practices. A proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail and a love for learning. Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and manage multiple requests at once.
