Tucked into Fitzrovia, Lucy Wong channels 1950s Hong Kong into one of London's best-loved late-night cocktail bars. We're looking for an experienced bartender or mixologist to join us behind the stick - someone who treats the craft properly, keeps their composure when the room is three-deep at 11pm, and wants a career, not just a shift, with a hospitality group that's growing and established in the hospitality scene in London since 1991. This isn't an entry-level pour. You already know your way around a shaker, a spec sheet and a packed Friday service - and you're ready to sharpen that craft further as part of a team that takes it seriously.

THE ROLE

You'll be a key part of the bar team at Lucy Wong, delivering our cocktail programme to the standard our guests expect - night after night, at pace, without cutting corners. You'll have a proper bar to work with: the right kit, quality ingredients, and a team that backs you to do the job well.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Real, proven bar experience - you've worked service, not just watched it
  • Confident classic and contemporary cocktail knowledge, and the technique to back it up
  • A genuine love of hospitality, flavour and the craft of mixology
  • Composure and speed when the bar is three-deep and the tickets keep coming
  • A natural gift for making guests feel like regulars from their first visit
  • Sharp attention to detail - from garnish to glassware to reading the room
  • A team-first mindset and excellent communication under pressure
  • Drive to help the bar hit its goals, not just get through the shift

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

  • Competitive, industry-leading salary package
  • Weekly pay
  • Flexible hours and a genuinely healthy work-life balance
  • Pension scheme
  • Free meals on shift
  • A transparent share of service charge
  • 50% staff discount across every venue in The Breakfast Group
  • A fun, close-knit team you'll actually want to work with
  • Real opportunities to grow as the group continues to expand
  • Ongoing personal development and career guidance

THE VENUE

Inspired by the 1950s Hong Kong of Richard Mason's ‘The World of Suzie Wong’, Lucy Wong is a stylish, Asian-inspired late-night cocktail bar and restaurant near Charlotte Street. Custom paintings and tapestries, velour armchairs and chaise lounges under lantern light, a hidden courtyard, signature and classic cocktails alongside Cantonese small plates - an intimate space that turns into one of Fitzrovia's best late-night spots. 33-34 Rathbone Place, London, W1T 1JN
