The predicted salary is between 42000 - 84000 £ per year.

Location - Leeds, West Yorkshire - hybrid option

Salary: Package of £60,000 + Bonus

Role Summary: We are working exclusively on this role for our client, a leading Media Asset & Events business in Leeds, who due to continued strategic growth, is looking to recruit a Sales Lead or Manager to work within a pivotal role. This is an excellent opportunity if you are looking to join a business who will experience strong growth and positive change in the coming years, of which this role will play a key part. Working closely with the MD and Marketing Manager you will work strategically to implement a Business Development plan, lead a small team of Account Managers, whilst also managing a key portfolio of your own clients, building relationships and developing business.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Lead the team of Account Managers, coaching, developing and succession planning, continually assessing performance levels
  • Driving revenue and growth across key sector areas, managing your own key accounts and developing those key relationships
  • Working with the MD to develop and successfully implement a strong Business Development plan
  • Continually assessing sales pipeline and reporting on activity
  • Making recommendations for areas of improvement across the Sales and Business Development function
  • Assessing trends within the sector, evaluating service proposition to ensure clients priorities are being met and exceeded
  • Represent the business at high-profile industry events within the UK and Internationally

This exciting opportunity is ideal for a results focused and experienced Account Manager, Sales Manager or Sales lead who has worked within a B2B sales role and demonstrates strong leadership skills and a passion for driving growth.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Experience gained within Legal, Financial Services, Saas, Fintech or within digital media, publishing, or events is highly desirable, however experience from other sectors will also be considered.
  • You will enjoy a dual role where leadership and proactive sales come hand in hand and you will demonstrate success within a target-driven sales role
  • You will be skilled in pipeline management and be confident across all areas of business development
  • A strategic thinker who can think creatively across all areas
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to produce persuasive sales proposals and presentations
  • You will be proactive with positive energy, eager to make a difference within this growing business.
