We are recruiting for one of leading agricultural clients based in North Yorkshire. We are seeking an experienced Sales & Parts Manager to join a well-established and productive team. You will take responsibility for the smooth, efficient and commercially focused running of the parts department. You will balance people leadership with stock control, supplier relationships and customer service—making sure the right parts are available at the right time, every time. You’ll lead by example, setting standards, supporting your team and ensuring customers receive a reliable, knowledgeable and friendly service.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and distribute workload to maximise parts sales while maintaining a strong commercial approach to stock quality and quantity
- Drive high service standards, ensuring customer needs are met and exceeded
- Manage the day-to-day running of the parts department, keeping it organised, safe and efficient
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to achieve best cost pricing
- Manage parts warranty submissions and returns within required timeframes to secure maximum credits
- Take responsibility for department performance and branch targets
- Recruit, develop, train and motivate your team, creating a positive and productive working environment
- Champion a culture of quality service, teamwork and continuous improvement
Experience and Knowledge:
- 3–5 years’ experience in a parts business, ideally within manufacturing or machinery-based environments
- Proven ability to lead, manage and motivate a team
- Strong organisational skills with a commercial mindset
- Confidence analysing and interpreting internal reports
- High level of communication and people skills
- Comfortable using standard computer applications and online systems
Desirable:
- Background in agricultural machinery, engineering, plant or manufacturing
- Experience working closely with suppliers and OEMs
