We are working with a respected engineering company in Leeds who are looking for an experienced and detail focussed Payroll Assistant to join their busy HR function. Working 9-5.30 Monday-Friday, this will be an ongoing temporary, hybrid role which could go permanent. Playing a key role in producing accurate payroll delivery, day to day duties will involve;

Preparing and processing monthly payroll data
Supporting the administration of Republic of Ireland payroll in line with local revenue requirements
Managing statutory and third-party deductions
Completing HMRC submissions
Producing payroll and benefits-related reports
Providing employees with clear, accurate guidance on pay, leave, and statutory entitlements
Contributing to payroll process improvements and supporting wider HR operations projects
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Payroll Assistant who can join immediately and commit to an ongoing, possibly Temp to Perm opportunity. The successful candidate will have;
Experienced in payroll, with a good understanding of end-to-end payroll processing
Experience of using SelectPay is desirable
Organised and detail-oriented
Collaborative and approachable, building strong working relationships across HR
Curious and proactive
Tech-savvy, confident using Microsoft 365 and comfortable learning new systems and processes
