We are recruiting for a leading HR consultancy based in West Yorkshire, our client provides expert, practical advice and documentation to help businesses manage their people effectively and compliantly. Their approach is professional, client-focused, and collaborative, with an emphasis on creating healthy, productive workplace cultures.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and capable HR Consultant with strong employment law knowledge to join an established and highly respected consultancy team.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing telephone and email advice to clients on HR and employment law issues.
- Acting as the main consultant across a portfolio of clients.
- Preparing and reviewing documentation such as employment contracts, policies, procedures, and handbooks.
- Delivering on-site support for HR actions including disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies and TUPE.
- Designing and delivering training sessions, webinars and seminars.
- Producing client communications, updates, and HR guidance materials.
- Supporting employment tribunal preparation where necessary.
- Keeping up to date with employment legislation and best practice.
This is a varied and rewarding consultancy role that offers real scope to build strong client relationships and deliver meaningful impact.
About You:We are looking for a professional, credible HR generalist with a good understanding of employment law and a genuine passion for client service.
Skills & Knowledge:- Proven experience within a senior HR role.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience).
- Excellent knowledge of UK Employment Law.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Previous consultancy experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
