We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing business within the design and distribution sector, looking to appoint a Customer Service & Operations Executive to join their friendly and collaborative team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining excellent customer service with operational coordination, purchasing support and supply chain administration. You'll work across multiple business functions, playing a key role in ensuring customers receive an exceptional experience while supporting the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

The Role

  • Providing first-class customer service, responding to enquiries and processing customer orders.
  • Supporting the sales team by monitoring customer demand and following up outstanding orders.
  • Raising and managing supplier purchase orders.
  • Monitoring supplier deliveries and communicating updates where required.
  • Liaising with suppliers, logistics providers and warehouse partners to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assisting with stock replenishment and inventory processes.
  • Investigating and resolving customer and delivery queries.
  • Maintaining accurate customer, product and order information.
  • Supporting continuous improvement across customer service and operational processes.

About You

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • A confident communicator who enjoys building relationships.
  • Able to prioritise a varied workload and remain calm under pressure.
  • Proactive with a positive, can-do attitude.
  • Experienced in customer service, operations, logistics or administration.
  • Comfortable using business systems (ERP, CRM or order management experience would be advantageous, but not essential).
