We are seeking an experienced and confident HR Advisor to join one of our leading Leeds based clients. You will help drive effective, legally compliant, and people-focused practices across multiple sites. This is a generalist role covering Employee Relations, Recruitment, Policies and Procedures – and you will support across exciting projects. A varied and fast-paced role. Ideally, you will come from a manufacturing or retail background. You will be responsible for a large team. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working proactively to build relationships with management, guiding and coaching within all areas of HR.
  • Employee Relations throughout the business, HR policies and processes in addition to having an engagement focus.
  • Responsible for key HR projects.
  • Talent Management: succession planning, recruitment, L&D projects - coaching and mentoring.
  • Responsible for managing absence, sickness and looking at staff attendance.

Skills & Experience:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or 4+ years hands-on experience within a decision-making HR role.
  • Driving Licence.
  • Proven experience with managing Employee Relations.
  • Experience of relationship building and challenging situations with the right approach, to ensure a satisfactory resolution.
  • Strong coaching and leadership skills.
  • Superb communication and organisational skills.
