We are recruiting for a Finance Team Supervisor to join a dynamic projects team based in Leeds. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations that support key works and projects. This will involve budgeting managing, invoicing and closing open projects.

You will play a key role in mentoring and developing your team. conducting regular one to ones, managing holidays, wellbeing training and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular one to ones, appraisals, and mid-year reviews.
  • Approve annual leave, monitor absence, and support staff wellbeing.

Ensure compliance with company policies and manage day-to-day team administration.

Maintain compliance with company policies around financial approvals and risk.

  • Monitor and expedite invoicing to ensure timely revenue recognition.
  • Liaise with Project Managers for project-related financial support.
  • Provide support for audit processes, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Support wider business needs by deputising for the Project Finance Manager as required.

What We\’re Looking For

  • Proven leadership experience; Team Leader level
  • Strong understanding of finance process, revenue recognition, and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to train, explain, and influence.
  • Able to work independently while supporting team success.
  • Flexible and professional approach to business needs.
