We are looking for an experienced Events Manager to join a well-established and expanding company who deliver both virtual and live events to clients on a worldwide basis. Working predominantly in the pharmaceuticals sector, you will be involved in coordinating events such as large-scale conferences, annual meetings and summit events internationally.

What the role will involve:

  • Build and nurture strong client relationships
  • Manage every aspect from the initial budget to final reconciliation
  • Comply with client policies, HCBI procedures, client driven KPI’s
  • Adapt working methods to stay aligned with new client requirements
  • Deliver events onsite as part of the team, providing excellent customer service and meeting client needs and expectations
  • Use an online registration platform (Cvent preferred) effectively, including building websites, maintaining databases and app development
  • Find, research, and build relationships with suppliers to secure the perfect venue for events
  • Manage team members working on projects, ensuring they are well-trained and understand their roles and responsibilities

Skills and Knowledge:

  • You have relevant industry experience, ideally in an agency environment; Healthcare events knowledge is an advantage
  • You have a passion for event management, and are determined, fun to work with, and a savvy thinker
  • An Events management degree is an advantage
  • Flexible, proactive individual with a keen eye for detail, ability to multi-task
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to travel internationally is a must
