Are you an electrically trained professional with construction experience, looking to step into a project management role? Our client is a dynamic and growing B2B construction start-up and are seeking an Electrical Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of installations across the UK.

The Role:

You’ll take full ownership of multiple projects, ensuring smooth coordination between electricians, contractors, and suppliers. Your electrical expertise will be key in managing installations, troubleshooting issues, and keeping projects on track—from initial surveys to final sign-off.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead electrical & mechanical coordination – managing site surveys, stock orders, and contractor scheduling
  • Oversee full project lifecycle (up to 16 weeks per project) – from contract sign-off to approval
  • Ensure correct materials & labour – ordering stock, coordinating deliveries, and managing on-site teams
  • Problem-solve in real-time – anticipating delays, rescheduling scaffolders/electricians, and keeping clients informed
  • Maintain compliance & documentation – H&S checks, electrical certifications, and final handover paperwork
  • Work closely with sales & PM teams – providing technical input and keeping projects moving at pace

What We Need From You:

  • Electrical/Mechanical background – ex-electrician, M&E project coordinator, or similar
  • Construction experience – you know how sites operate and can handle straight-talking contractors
  • Strong organisational skills – juggling multiple projects (up to 10/day) with precision
  • Proactive mindset – spotting issues before they arise
  • Confident communicator – comfortable delivering tough updates to clients and suppliers
  • Driven to progress – tired of the tools? Ready to step into a PM role with minimal travel

On Offer:

  • Transition from trade to management – leverage your electrical knowledge in a strategic role
  • Company car provided – for site visits (typically 2 a week but home within the same day)
  • Career growth – join a scaling business with strong sales pipelines
  • Office-based with flexibility – Leeds City Centre
  • Up to £45,000 basic + benefits

This is a hands-on, technical PM role—perfect for an electrician or M&E professional ready to take the next step. If you’re keen to move off the tools and into project delivery, we want to hear from you! Our client are hiring NOW, so do not delay getting in touch!
