We are seeking a proactive and commercially driven individual to join a dynamic freight agency team. This is a key role that contributes directly to company profitability through handling customer enquiries, preparing competitive quotations, and supporting business growth. The successful candidate will play an integral part in developing strong customer relationships, working collaboratively with internal teams, and delivering excellent service standards. You will be preparing client quotations, supporting the external sales team, working with contracted rates and creating the relevant documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage customer enquiries via telephone and email
- Calculate and communicate rates to customers and the external sales team
- Prepare and issue quotations in a timely manner
- Handle invoice queries and pricing disputes
- Work with and interpret rate sheets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and shipping partners
- Price bookings and manage the pricing inbox effectively

- Experience in import/export freight forwarding is desirable
