Product Manager

Our client, a leading West Yorkshire-based FMCG company, is recruiting for a Product Manager to manage the current product portfolio of their designated sub-category. If you have a background in product-based marketing within the FMCG sector, this could be the role for you.

Responsibilities of a Product Manager:

  1. Manage product renovation and innovation projects in-line with brand ambitions and commercial objectives.
  2. Create long-term product innovation pipelines for your sub-category of responsibility that deliver on brand ambitions and consumer needs.
  3. Understand all competitor activity and action appropriate responses to develop and protect the brand portfolio within your sub-category.
  4. Working cross-functionally with teams such as sales, category and net revenue.
  5. Support sales and category in the product sell in materials for the listings and launch of new products.
  6. Represent the brand in brand plans and account meetings for retailers.

Experience required for the role of Product Manager:

  1. 2 years minimum marketing experience within a branded environment.
  2. Previous experience working within the FMCG sector.
  3. Strong Excel and numerical abilities.
  4. Comfortable working within complex international multi-
  5. Project management and leadership skills.
