We are working with an established, global organisation with offices in North Yorkshire who are seeking to appoint an experienced HR Manager to lead the HR function here in the UK. Supporting a small team across a number of sites, the successful candidate will be looking for a challenging opportunity where they can lead, drive and implement change, reporting into the global HR Manager.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the Human Resources team to deliver a comprehensive HR service to the wider business.
  • Significantly contribute to the Group HR practices & objectives.
  • Consistently focus on engendering a high-performance culture.
  • Line management of Human Resources team including training, career development & appraisals.
  • Keep job descriptions up to date, accurate and relevant to assist the performance management programme.
  • Implementing the training and development agenda; identify areas that need attention and improvement.
  • Measuring employee satisfaction and identifying areas that require improvement.
  • Managing talent and succession planning.
  • Implementation of services, policies & programmes.
  • Actively manage all Employee relations issues.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, support morale, and increase productivity and retention.
  • Support current and future business needs.
