An established UK-based manufacturing company in the food sector is seeking an experienced supply chain professional to join as their Head of Supply Chain. A multi-site role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and continuous improvement of end-to-end supply chain performance. The role ensures excellent customer service, efficient and cost-effective operations, and strong alignment between demand, warehousing and production. A key focus will be delivering data-driven decision-making and process implementation to support business growth.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Jointly lead the performance of two operational sites with the Operations Manager, holding responsibility for customer services, internal warehousing and third-party logistics operations.
- Transform customer services and warehouse functions by embedding strong performance management, customer focus, Lean ways of working and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Own and improve end-to-end supply chain planning, ensuring effective alignment between customer demand, warehousing and production plans.
- Maximise the use of ERP and digital systems to improve data accuracy, visibility, automation and decision-making.
- Drive stock optimisation, working capital efficiency and cost control while maintaining high service levels.
- Lead governance, performance management and continuous improvement with third-party logistics partners.
- Establish robust SOPs, training and onboarding processes to support capability, standardisation and scalability.
- Act as a senior cross-functional leader, working closely with Operations, Sales, Commercial, Finance and IT to deliver aligned supply chain outcomes and manage risk and resilience.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in supply chain, operations or logistics within FMCG or manufacturing.
- Proven leadership experience across customer services, warehousing and supply chain functions, including third-party logistics management.
- Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end supply chain performance, including service levels, inventory, cost and working capital.
- Strong track record of delivering continuous improvement and Lean methodologies in operational environments.
- Experience working with ERP systems and digital tools to improve efficiency, data quality and business insight.
- Degree or equivalent professional experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations or a related discipline.
- Desirable: qualifications in project management or Supply Chain Operations.
