Our client is a regulated Law firm, based in Leeds and the business operates within a hybrid structure of 2 days in the office. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join their growing team. This is a varied and pivotal role, providing vital support to dozens of consultant solicitors. - Client Onboarding & Compliance: Take the lead on client onboarding, performing essential compliance checks (AML, KYC, Source of Funds). Ensure all new files are opened accurately and efficiently in their system.
- Varied Administrative Support: Handle requests from consultants, which will be variable and span different areas of law including Commercial Property and Private Client (Wills, Probate, LPAs). You won't be expected to be an expert in everything, but a keen eye for detail and form-filling is essential.
