I'm looking for an exceptional Senior Designer or Design Director to join an established, award-winning branding and design agency. There's flexibility around the level of this appointment, so I'm keen to hear from both outstanding Senior Designers and established Design Directors who still love being close to the creative work.

Role essentials:

  • Drinks packaging experience across premium alcoholic and alcohol-free brands is essential
  • Ideally currently working, or previously worked, within a design agency specialising in drinks branding and packaging
  • A beautifully crafted portfolio demonstrating premium drinks packaging and brand design
  • Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to develop distinctive, original creative ideas
  • Experience taking brands from initial concept through to fully realised identities and packaging
  • Excellent typography, composition and exceptional attention to craft and detail
  • Strong understanding of packaging structure, hierarchy and how brands perform at shelf
  • Experience extending packaging identities into wider brand worlds and multiple consumer touchpoints
  • Confidence presenting creative thinking and articulating the rationale behind your work
  • Ability to combine creative ambition with commercial understanding
  • Comfortable collaborating closely with strategy, client services and other creatives
  • For Design Director-level candidates, experience providing creative direction, mentoring designers and maintaining exceptional creative standards across projects

This is a specialist appointment, so relevant drinks experience really is essential. I'm particularly interested in portfolios showing sophisticated work across premium spirits, wine, beer and/or alcohol-free drinks brands, rather than general FMCG packaging alone.

The position can be appointed at Senior Designer or Design Director level, with salary negotiable depending on experience.

If this sounds like you, let's talk. Please send your CV, portfolio and salary expectations.
