Product Designer

Lucy is working with a global consumer brand group, seeking a talented Product Designer to join their in‑house studio on a 6‑month contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for a designer who thrives on turning original ideas into market‑ready products, balancing creative vision with commercial focus.

You’ll play a key role in developing innovative products across beauty tools, packaging, gifting, and accessories, while taking ownership of the travel category from a product design perspective.

Pay: £20,000–32,000.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead concept ideation for new product launches and seasonal ranges
• Translate insights and trends into distinctive, consumer‑first product ideas
• Create 3D designs, mock‑ups, and technical specs using SolidWorks, Creo, or similar software
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure design intent is maintained through production
• Review samples and prototypes to ensure form, function, and finish meet brand standards
• Work cross‑functionally with project managers, creatives, and procurement teams
• Stay ahead of consumer and design trends, championing innovation and sustainability

What You’ll Bring:

• 3–5+ years’ experience in product or industrial design (ideally beauty, lifestyle, or consumer goods)
• A strong portfolio showcasing creative, commercially viable designs
• Proficiency in 3D software (SolidWorks, Creo, or equivalent)
• Confident across concept generation, design development, and technical refinement
• Excellent communication and visual storytelling skills
• Collaborative mindset with a proactive, entrepreneurial approach
