Overview
Job Purpose: The role will lead financial reporting and assist with the financial planning cycle. This role will report to the Financial Controller of the business and work closely with Lucy Group finance teams.
Business Overview: Blakley Electrics is a UK manufacturer specialising in high performance power distribution, protection, transformer and lighting products, supplying sectors including construction, industrial, rail, nuclear and events. The company has operated for over 65 years and manufactures in house to ISO9001:2015 standards.
Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate monthly management accounts, financial commentary.
- Assist with year end statutory accounts preparation.
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and internal financial policies.
- Collaborate with Financial Accounting to maintain financial controls and support financial reporting.
- Preparation of company tax pack reporting to Group.
- Financial Planning.
