About This Role

We seek an experienced, talented and focused individual to join our dynamic team currently delivering installation, maintenance, and product support services for HV & LV equipment across the UK and abroad.

Responsibilities

• Installation, refurbishment, maintenance of LV/HV equipment.
• Interpret electrical drawings and records.
• Carry out electrical testing and fault finding.
• Carry out mechanical modifications and repairs.
• Complete assessment and completion reports.
• Installation and modification of AC/DC wiring and earthing.
• Assess safety and apply controls and safety measures required.
• Facilitate a safe working environment during high / low voltage working.
• Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of LEEVI and its customers.
• Maintain authorisations in accordance with legislative our safety procedures and industry best practice.
• Liaise closely with team to understand and manage priorities.
• Attend training and continuous development opportunities as required.

Required Qualifications

• Proven track record of experience in the Electrical and/or distribution Industry.
• Certified in electricity at work and
• Experience of delivering efficient and effective services to customers whether on site or at a planning stage from an office environment.
• Good knowledge of H&S and its practical implications.
• Computer literate – skilled in MS office.
• Technically qualified with a HNC or equivalent apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering.
• Desirable training, first aid, IPAF, PASMA, SMSTS.
• Full driver’s License, willingness to travel and work weekends as overtime or with a day off in the week.

Desirable Qualifications

• Cable jointing and end terminations.
• Switching and Linking LV systems.
• Have or held authorisations – Private Networks, WPD, UKPN, SSEN.
• Mentoring of trainees.Willingness to work weekends and call outs.
• Willing to travel abroad to support product and customers (2/3 day trips).
