About This Role
We seek an experienced, talented and focused individual to join our dynamic team currently delivering installation, maintenance, and product support services for HV & LV equipment across the UK and abroad.
Responsibilities
- Installation, refurbishment, maintenance of LV/HV equipment.
- Interpret electrical drawings and records.
- Carry out electrical testing and fault finding.
- Carry out mechanical modifications and repairs.
- Complete assessment and completion reports.
- Installation and modification of AC/DC wiring and earthing.
- Assess safety and apply controls and safety measures required.
- Facilitate a safe working environment during high / low voltage working.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of LEEVI and its customers.
- Maintain authorisations in accordance with legislative our safety procedures and industry best practice.
- Liaise closely with team to understand and manage priorities.
- Attend training and continuous development opportunities as required.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record of experience in the Electrical and/or distribution Industry.
- Certified in electricity at work and
- Experience of delivering efficient and effective services to customers whether on site or at a planning stage from an office environment.
- Good knowledge of H&S and its practical implications.
- Computer literate ā skilled in MS office.
- Technically qualified with a HNC or equivalent apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering.
- Desirable training, first aid, IPAF, PASMA, SMSTS.
- Full driverās License, willingness to travel and work weekends as overtime or with a day off in the week.
Desirable Qualifications
- Cable jointing and end terminations.
- Switching and Linking LV systems.
- Have or held authorisations ā Private Networks, WPD, UKPN, SSEN.
- Mentoring of trainees.Willingness to work weekends and call outs.
- Willing to travel abroad to support product and customers (2/3 day trips).
