Job Responsibility:
Position Overview: In this position you will work closely across the operations spectrum in Thame to ensure all documentation is processed and distributed to customers as required. Your further inputs will allow for dynamic support to all Thame site departments as surge and work volumes identified. You will be working as part of the UK Operations team to ensure planning of customer orders are facilitated and completed to meet monthly targets. As an operations team member, you will engage across all business sectors to ensure challenges are addressed with your active end user support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raising Requisitions across Operations and Production areas.
- Assist the Operation Manager with ad-hoc duties as and when required.
- Liaise with the purchasing teams regarding deliveries, monitoring and updating purchase order chase list.
- Work with Accounts department to help close out any delivery/invoice queries.
- Improve Stock-turn and Inventory content, assist in the reduction of inventory levels through Finance led obsolete and slow-moving stock activity.
- Assist in the improvement of supplier OTIF.
- Scan all product Birth Certificates into online repositories and ensure order accuracy of copies presented.
- Distribute product birth certificates to all customers as required and to deadline.
- Chasing the stores for urgently required deliveries.
- Obtaining VT and CT certs for M-Units to support build program.
- Conducting Inventory checks in support of Production Manager
- Providing administrative support to other departments or projects as needed.
- Monitor and maintain shop floor Direct Line feed (DLF), Bulk and Kanban systems with all Team Leaders.
Skills, Education & Experience:
- Good knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office products; word, excel & outlook.
- English & Mathematics GCSE education level or equivalent.
- Prior administrative experience is essential.
- Knowledge of MS Teams and / or other media platforms.
Job Details:
- This is a role based in Thame with standard hours of 07:00 β 15:30 Monday to Thursday and 07:00 β 12:00 on Fridays. These times can be negotiated and amended to suit the individual.
