Lucy Cavendish College, part of the University of Cambridge, is seeking to appoint a part-time Research Associate on a fixed term basis to contribute to an ambitious programme of work focused on student mental-health challenges and skills development. The postholder will evaluate the effectiveness, scalability, and equity of current college interventions, including the Risman Challenge and Discovery Programme.

Producing publications based on research, you will lead on the development of research measures, data collection, and data analysis, liaising with collaborators, the advisory board, and a range of stakeholders. Working closely with the Pastoral team, the postholder will support the planning and delivery of dissemination activities, including a university-wide symposium, a national conference, and the creation of multi‑media materials.

The postholder will hold a PhD in Psychology or a closely related discipline and use their knowledge of adolescent and young adult development and mental health to undertake qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis. You will have the ability to plan, organise and prioritise your own workload and communicate complex and nuanced information in an accessible manner. With experience of dissemination of findings to a range of audiences, you will also have experience of working with a range of stakeholders within a research project.

A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be required for this role.
