Location: England (Home based with client visits across England).

Salary: Up to £65,000 basic salary plus benefits.

Role Snapshot: As Network Consultant you will be an integral member of the delivery team. The role will entail assisting with migrations, day-to-day delivery tasks and providing ongoing support as a trusted advisor to the company’s clients ensuring the solutions and services provided are at an optimal level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with end-to-end delivery on enterprise network, data centre and security solutions.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to a 3rd line level.
  • Provide exceptional customer services.
  • Contribute to knowledge centre and keep documentation up to date.
  • Be willing to work in a vendor agnostic environment and stay up to date with the latest technologies.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Strong experience in enterprise grade network and security solutions particularly across either Cisco, Fortinet and Palo Alto technologies.
  • Proven ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Cisco ISE.
  • Knowledge of VM Ware NSX.
  • Demonstrate background and understanding in NAC, routing, switching and security.
  • Knowledge of SD-WAN.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willing to travel to customer sites across the UK.
  • A valid UK driving license. Some of the customer sites are hard to get to via public transport and driving is the only option.
