Role Snapshot: As Network Consultant you will be an integral member of the delivery team. The role will entail assisting with migrations, day-to-day delivery tasks and providing ongoing support as a trusted advisor to the company’s clients ensuring the solutions and services provided are at an optimal level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with end-to-end delivery on enterprise network, data centre and Security solutions.
- Provide ongoing technical support to a 3rd line level.
- Provide exceptional customer services.
- Contribute to knowledge centre and keep documentation up to date.
- Be willing to work in a vendor agnostic environment and stay up to date with the latest technologies.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience in enterprise grade network and security solutions particularly across either Cisco, Fortinet and Palo Alto technologies.
- Proven ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Cisco ISE.
- Knowledge of VM Ware NSX.
- Demonstrate background and understanding in NAC, routing, switching and security.
- Knowledge of SD-WAN.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Additional Requirements:
- Willing to travel to customer sites across the UK.
- A valid UK driving license. Some of the customer sites are hard to get to via public transport and driving is the only option.
