About us

We’re in the business of leisure and hospitality, and have a great time delivering phenomenal nights out that include amazing private room karaoke, delicious drinks, and tasty food. Lucky Voice is a place where people come to let their hair down, have fun, belt out some tunes, and switch off from reality. We’re looking for someone to play a part in creating marketing moments that communicate nights out that everyone loves and remembers forever.

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced and commercially minded Head of Marketing to join Lucky Voice on a maternity cover basis from July 2026 - September 2027. This role will take full ownership of marketing strategy and execution across the business, with a primary focus on driving performance and growth for our bars business across all UK venues. Reporting into the Managing Director, you’ll be responsible for setting strategy and direction, allocating budgets, and ensuring marketing activity delivers against key commercial objectives including covers, traffic, engagement and overall brand strength. You’ll lead the marketing team, manage/monitor agency partners, and work closely with senior stakeholders across operations and sales. This is a hybrid role based in London, with regular time spent in venues and working closely with teams across the business.

What you’ll do

  • Venue marketing (5 x London, 1 x Brighton): Own and lead the end-to-end marketing strategy for the bars business, from annual and quarterly through to campaign planning and day-to-day execution.
  • Manage marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation across channels to maximise ROI.
  • Lead the strategic development and execution of insight-driven marketing campaigns that drive commercial growth across venue covers, revenue and spend per head.
  • Accountable for performance across all marketing channels, using data insights to optimise ROI and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead on brand awareness and engagement across social and digital channels, increasing traffic and demand for Lucky Voice.
  • Act as senior brand guardian, ensuring consistent, high-quality execution across all customer touchpoints both online and within the venues.

Leadership & stakeholders

  • Lead and develop the marketing team, with direct line management of the Senior Marketing Manager (who oversees two Marketing Executives).
  • Develop strategies in alignment with Operations & Sales to ensure marketing activity supports business goals.
  • Manage/monitor external agencies (digital, PR and creative), setting overarching strategy and holding partners accountable to performance.

What we’re looking for

  • 8+ years marketing experience within hospitality or leisure.
  • Proven experience leading marketing strategy, budgets and teams in a commercially driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of multi-channel performance marketing and brand-led growth.
  • Experience managing agencies and senior stakeholders with confidence.
  • Experience using AI tools to enhance marketing effectiveness, optimise workflows and aid data analysis.
  • Comfortable presenting to Senior Leadership Team and Board, including performance reports, insights and recommendations.
  • Data-driven, commercially astute and confident making decisions that impact revenue.
  • Creative marketer with a strong eye for brand, customer experience and campaign ideas that drive sales and engagement.
  • A natural leader who can motivate teams and bring clarity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organised, proactive and resilient.
  • Brings energy, warmth and a sense of fun - essential at Lucky Voice.

Staff benefits

  • Private healthcare with Benenden Health.
  • Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Access to Level FT to access your salary earlier.
  • Birthday bunk off.
  • Access to the pension scheme.
  • 20% Friends & Family discount on room hire.
  • 50% Staff discount (F&B).
  • 30% Staff discount on Karaoke Kits.
  • Staff socials / Company-wide parties.
