The Opportunity

We are looking for a Customer Marketing Exec to join the team at Lucky Saint as we continue our mission to become the defining alcohol-free beer. You will be responsible for planning and executing on & off-trade activation to drive awareness, trial and sales of our alcohol-free beer range alongside key internal and external stakeholders. This is a key role for someone ambitious, commercially minded, and excited by growth. You will connect brand and customer, working hand in hand with the Marketing and Sales teams to bring Lucky Saint to life across pubs, bars, and retail.

A Day in the Life

You’ll kick off the week by coming into the office for our all-company Monday Morning Meeting (MMM). You’ll then head downstairs to our pub for a coffee and a catch-up with your line manager, where you’ll run through the big updates from the previous week; your 3 key focusses for the coming week and work through any current blockers to your work. After that, you may join a pitching call with one of our sales team and their customer to present some activation ideas you’ve come up with. After lunch, you’ll get on with writing a design brief for a point of sale (POS) toolkit for our upcoming summer campaign. Once that’s done, you’ll head out into trade with one of the sales execs to meet the team of a new site that’s opened and started pouring Lucky Saint to make sure it’s tasting good, they’ve got the right POS visibility assets on display and that the team feel educated, inspired and confident selling Lucky Saint.

Key Responsibilities

  • Bringing Lucky Saint to life in trade: Support the Customer Marketing Manager Lead in collaborating with on and off-trade sales team members to plan, execute and analyse activations across the on-trade & off-trade channels.
  • Manage our 3PL partner to ensure all our POS, merchandise and trade event assets are delivered on time and cost-efficiently.
  • Work in collaboration with our in-house design team to create bold & impactful POS toolkits for on-trade, off-trade and international markets.
  • Support the Customer Marketing Lead to deliver a wide range of industry & trade events showcasing the brand at its best to existing and prospective customers.

Who You Are

  • Have 1-2 years' experience in FMCG, On Trade, Brand Activation and Promotions or a similar industry (also open to fresh grads with industrial placement years, internships, field sales/marketing, brand ambassador experience, especially where you've had on-trade exposure).
  • Have a degree in a related field such as marketing or business management, although not essential.
  • Are a passionate and ambitious marketeer.
  • Understand the nuances of the on-trade & off-trade landscape and the role of B2B marketing.
  • Can use Microsoft Office or similar organisation tools, have great stakeholder management & can ruthlessly prioritise.
  • Have an instinct for spotting a good opportunity and the ability to make it happen.
  • Thrive in fast-paced, changeable environment and bounce forward from the unexpected.
  • Always look for the devil in the detail and take full ownership of your work from end-to-end.
  • Have a growth mindset – a winning mentality.

This is a hybrid, office-based role that also involves regular time spent in the field, visiting customers and attending events and launches. Some of these activities will take place during evenings, so it's important to be comfortable with a degree of flexibility in your working hours. A genuine interest in the on-trade environment and lifestyle would be a real advantage, as the role offers experiences that go beyond a typical desk-based position. For the right person, we hope this variety and exposure will be seen as one of the more exciting and rewarding aspects of the opportunity.
