What you do as a Senior Sous Chef: Support the Head Chef in leading the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, taking ownership of the team and ensuring every service runs with quality and consistency. Lead by example, inspiring, coaching and developing the kitchen team to achieve the highest standards of performance, discipline and professionalism. Take responsibility for delivering exceptional food, ensuring every dish meets the exacting standards of quality, presentation and consistency expected at Lucky Cat Mayfair. Maintain clear, confident communication across all sections of the kitchen and with the wider restaurant team, ensuring a seamless and efficient service. Bring a genuine passion for exceptional, seasonal ingredients and Asian-inspired cuisine, with a relentless focus on flavour, quality and execution. Uphold the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, kitchen organisation and operational excellence, ensuring the team consistently delivers against company standards. Be hands-on during service, remaining calm and decisive under pressure while setting the pace and maintaining control of the kitchen. Work closely with the Head Chef to drive continuous improvement, develop the team and deliver an outstanding guest experience, every service.
