Artisan Bakers - Viennoiserie and Bread

Astrid is a fast-growing independent artisan bakery in North London, known for its exceptional viennoiserie, sourdough breads and innovative seasonal pastries. As we continue to expand, we are looking for experienced, energetic and highly skilled bakers to join our ambitious production team. Astrid is a busy, fast-paced bakery producing an extensive and evolving range to exacting standards every day. Produce exceptional sourdough breads, laminated pastries and other artisan products. Work across mixing, fermentation, lamination, shaping, proofing, baking and finishing. Maintain Astrid's exacting standards for quality, consistency and visual presentation. Work quickly, accurately and efficiently to demanding daily production schedules. Adapt confidently between different areas of the bakery, collaborating closely with the pastry team. Follow established recipes and methods while maintaining excellent organisation, hygiene and food safety. Contribute to a positive, productive kitchen culture built on teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement. Proven professional experience in a busy two-site artisan bakery, with strong technical skills in sourdough, viennoiserie or both. Fast, precise, reliable and highly motivated, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain quality under pressure. Experience across both disciplines is ideal, but specialists enthusiastic about cross-training and working throughout the bakery are welcome.
