You'll manage your own clients and workload, contribute to business growth, and deliver technically sound advice that people rely on. We're now looking for a Technical Consultant with strong asbestos expertise and commercial awareness to join our growing team.
What You'll Be Doing (And Why It Matters)
This is a senior, trusted role with a high level of autonomy. You'll:
- Take responsibility for your own workload, clients, financials, and business development activity
- Identify market opportunities and contribute to the sales pipeline
- Support tenders, marketing activity, and commercial teams
- Monitor and report on your sales revenue, turnover, costs, and profitability
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors to support delivery
- Use business systems effectively, including NexGen, Scheduler, CRM, forecasting, invoicing, document management, and contract tools
- Ensure company systems are accurately maintained and kept up to date
- Deliver external asbestos training, both virtually and at Lucion and client locations
- Attend and engage in training to continuously develop your knowledge and skills
- Prepare weekly activity reports and contribute to team discussions
- Ensure all client requests are handled efficiently, professionally, and on time
- Make sure all work quoted is commercially sound, profitable, and free from unconsidered risk

About You (Credible, Organised, Commercially Aware)
You're comfortable managing responsibility and making good decisions.
You'll Bring
- A combination of relevant vocational qualifications such as BOHS P401P407, S301, W504, or CocA (Asbestos)
- A strong working knowledge of UK asbestos regulations and guidance
- The ability to work independently, self-manage tasks, and prioritise workloads effectively
- Sound judgement, integrity, and a leadership mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong IT skills and confidence using business systems
- A full UK driving licence (preferably clean)
- You're pragmatic, organised, and trusted to represent the business well.
