We’re now looking for an Asbestos Lab Bulk Analyst to join our UKAS-accredited laboratory team in Gateshead. If quality, accuracy, and getting it right first time matter to you — you’ll feel right at home.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Analysing bulk asbestos samples using PLM in line with UKAS and HSG248
- Accurately identifying asbestos types and recording results clearly
- Maintaining high standards of quality, documentation, and data integrity
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the laboratory
- Working closely with surveyors, consultants, and operational teams
- Supporting audits and assessments in a calm, professional manner
- Focused, skilled lab work that genuinely protects people.
Responsibilities:
- Experience working in an asbestos laboratory environment
- Methodical, detail-driven, and quality-focused
- Comfortable working independently while being part of a team
- Strong understanding of UKAS and laboratory quality systems
