Are you an experienced Credit Controller or Debt Collector looking for more variety, greater exposure and the opportunity to develop your skills? At Lucion Group, we’re looking for a proactive and motivated Group Credit Controller to join our growing Finance Team. This is an exciting opportunity to build on your existing experience, work across multiple businesses and gain a broader understanding of finance within a collaborative and supportive environment. We help organisations create safer, smarter and more sustainable environments. As our Group continues to grow, so does the opportunity for our people to grow with us. If you enjoy building relationships, solving problems and making a real difference to business performance, this could be the perfect next step for you. What makes this role different? This isn’t just about chasing overdue invoices. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of customers and accounts across multiple companies within the Group, develop your commercial awareness and expand your knowledge of wider finance processes. Whether you’re an established Credit Controller or currently working in Debt Collection, Collections or Accounts Receivable and ready for a new challenge, this role offers the variety, support and development to help you move forward. What will you be doing? You’ll play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the business, helping ensure payments are received on time while building positive relationships with customers and colleagues. Your responsibilities will include: * Taking ownership of customer accounts across multiple companies within the Group. * Driving timely payments by proactively following up outstanding invoices by phone and email. * Keeping on top of aged debt and identifying opportunities to reduce overdue balances. * Solving problems by investigating and resolving invoice, billing and payment queries. * Managing payments and reconciliations, including allocating receipts and keeping customer accounts accurate. * Building strong relationships with customers and internal teams to resolve issues and keep things moving. * Maintaining accurate records and ensuring financial information is up to date. * Finding better ways of working by contributing ideas to improve finance processes and procedures. * Working as part of the wider Finance Team, gaining insight into other areas of the function and developing your skills along the way. What are we looking for? We’re looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, communicates confidently and takes a proactive approach to getting results. You might already be an experienced Credit Controller looking for more variety, or a Debt Collector or Collections professional ready to broaden your experience and explore the next stage of your career. Ideally, you’ll bring: * Previous experience in Credit Control, Debt Collection, Collections, Accounts Receivable or a similar role. * Strong communication skills and the confidence to have professional conversations about outstanding payments. * A natural ability to build relationships and handle queries constructively. * Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records. * Good working knowledge of Excel and finance systems. * Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands. * A proactive, practical and solutions-focused approach. * A willingness to learn, develop and take on new challenges. * A positive attitude and a genuine team-player mentality. Most importantly, you’ll be someone who wants to keep learning, enjoys working collaboratively and is keen to make an impact. Why join Lucion Group? Build your experience. Broaden your skills.
