Environmental Due Diligence (ETS)
Hybrid - London
At Lucion, we don’t just tick boxes on environmental reports — we help clients make better decisions for people, places, and the planet. We’re a purpose-driven, beyond net-zero business, trusted across 12 sectors worldwide. Our work sits at the intersection of commercial reality and environmental responsibility — and we do it with clarity, confidence, and a touch of personality.
We’re now on the hunt for a Senior Environmental Consultant to join our sector-leading Environmental Transaction Services (ETS) team. If environmental due diligence is your jam — and you like high-quality, fast-paced work delivered with clever, supportive people — you’ll feel right at home.
What You’ll Be Doing (And Why It’s Actually Fun)
This is a hands-on, senior role with variety, responsibility, and a chance to influence. You’ll lead projects, support your team, and help shape the future of ETS — all while juggling multiple deadlines like a pro.
- Lead and deliver environmental due diligence projects, including multi-site portfolios across the UK and Europe — spreadsheets optional, coffee mandatory
- Provide clear, commercially focused advice on ground risk and environmental compliance (with a pinch of sustainability)
- Keep multiple projects on track without dropping the ball — calmly, confidently, and maybe with a spreadsheet magic trick or two
- Be a trusted client contact, building relationships and keeping projects moving — think calm navigator in sometimes choppy waters
- Support junior colleagues with coaching, technical review, and quality assurance (mentoring = bonus points)
- Contribute to fee proposals and tenders — no hard-selling, just let your brilliant work do the talking
- Manage project finances, budgets, forecasting, and invoicing without breaking a sweat
- Coordinate suppliers and third-party specialists like a human conductor
- Bring practical, smart ideas to improve how the team works — because good ideas deserve a stage
In short: variety, responsibility, leadership — and the chance to make a real impact without unnecessary corporate nonsense.
