The Role

As a Structures Supervisor, you’ll oversee the planning, delivery and quality of structural inspection and investigation projects across the UK. You’ll lead by example, supporting your team while ensuring every project is completed safely, efficiently and in line with UKAS-accredited quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising structural and highway infrastructure surveys
  • Leading structural investigations and condition assessments
  • Overseeing pavement surveys, trial pits and investigative works
  • Managing asbestos surveys within infrastructure environments
  • Supervising concrete inspections and testing
  • Coordinating survey teams, equipment and site activities
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety and quality procedures
  • Reviewing survey data and technical reports
  • Mentoring and developing Survey Technicians
  • Maintaining excellent client relationships on site

What We’re Looking For

You’ll have previous experience supervising field-based survey teams within the highways, infrastructure or civil engineering sectors.

Essential experience:

  • Structural inspections and investigations

  • Building or infrastructure investigations
  • Supervising or leading site teams
  • Producing or reviewing technical survey information

Desirable:

  • SSSTS qualification
