Think you can spot what others miss?

Every bridge has a story. Every crack has a reason. Every structure has something to tell you.

We're looking for a Lead Structures Surveyor who knows how to uncover those stories and turn observations into the information that keeps the UK's infrastructure safe.

At Lucion, we're growing our Infrastructure team and need an experienced surveyor who enjoys getting out on site, solving technical challenges and leading work that genuinely matters.

This isn't a role where every day looks the same.

One day you could be investigating a structure, the next leading a survey team or helping a client understand the condition of a critical asset.

What will you be doing?

You'll take the lead on a variety of infrastructure inspection and investigation projects across the UK, including:

  • Structural inspections and investigations
  • Highway condition and pavement surveys
  • Concrete inspections and testing
  • Trial pit investigations
  • Asbestos surveys within infrastructure environments

You'll also support and guide Surveyors and Technicians, work closely with clients and make sure projects are delivered safely, accurately and to the high standards expected within our UKAS-accredited environment.

Is this you?

You don't just see a bridge, road or structure—you see the details others might overlook.

You'll bring experience in structural surveying, infrastructure inspections or investigation work, along with:

  • A practical, problem-solving mindset
  • Confidence working independently and leading others
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Great communication skills
  • A commitment to quality and safety
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

SSSTS or UKAS-accredited experience would be a bonus, but we're always keen to hear from talented people who want to keep developing.

Why Lucion?

Because great infrastructure needs great people.

Your work will help clients make smarter decisions, improve safety and protect the structures people rely on every day.

You'll join a growing team where your experience is valued, your ideas are welcomed and your career has room to move forward.

  • The perks
  • Competitive salary with annual reviews
  • Salary Sacrifice Car Scheme
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
  • Cashback Health Scheme
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Retail discounts platform
  • Life Assurance
  • Ongoing training and development

Ready to make your mark?

If you're looking for more than just another surveying role—if you want variety, responsibility and the chance to lead work that matters—we'd love to hear from you.

Bring your expertise. Bring your curiosity. Help us keep the UK's infrastructure moving.

Apply today and join Lucion's Infrastructure team.

Lucion is proud to be an equal opportunities employer. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive
