We’re looking for an experienced Air Quality professional to step into a senior leadership role and build, lead, and grow our Air Quality team. The Role
This is a senior technical and leadership role where you’ll take ownership of air quality delivery, support business growth, and act as a trusted advisor to clients. You’ll lead complex projects, mentor colleagues, and have real influence over how the Air Quality service develops.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading and delivering air quality and odour assessments from start to finish
- Managing Air Quality Assessments to support planning applications and environmental permits
- Carrying out dispersion modelling using ADMS and ADMS Roads
- Delivering specialist work including ammonia assessments, fire and incident dispersion modelling, and emerging technical scopes
- Supporting and leading business development activity and proposal writing
- Building strong client relationships and acting as a senior technical point of contact
- Collaborating with Lucion’s wider environmental and engineering teams
- Mentoring and supporting junior and mid-level consultants
Working Arrangements
- Hybrid working from London or Manchester offices
- Flexible working patterns supported
- Occasional UK (and limited overseas) travel for site visits and meetings
- Overnight stays may be required for multi-day assignments
- Full UK driving licence required
About You
- Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or a related discipline
- Significant consultancy experience in air quality
- Strong understanding of UK air quality legislation, planning policy, and regulatory frameworks
- Proven experience with dispersion modelling software such as ADMS / ADMS Roads
- Confident managing projects, clients, and technical delivery
- Chartered status and membership of IAQM or similar
